For our second webinar in the series, we will be talking about the Idaho Standards! Did you know Idaho's standards are considered 3D? They have three elements that make them engaging, relevant, and modern. We'll be talking about each of those elements (Crosscutting Concepts, Science and Engineering Practices, and Disciplinary Core Ideas), how to identify them within the standard, ideas for teaching the standards effectively, and providing you a toolkit for lessons and resources that accompany the Idaho Standards.
This webinar will be "investigative" and will have some dedicated time for you to brainstorm using YOUR lessons/standards. Come with a lesson in mind! Join us from 5pm-6pm on Tuesday, September 9th to get your science on!
