Regions 1 & 2: PD with a $1000 Stipend

Summer 2021

Storyline Working Group Feel like you’ve had an introduction to 3-dimensional teaching and learning, but need help to completely make the shift so your students are figuring out instead of just learning about facts in your classroom? The Storyline Working Group is a professional development opportunity for K-12 science teachers in Regions I and II.

Participants in the Storyline Working Group will engage firsthand in bundling standards, in storyline planning, and implement the units in their classroom. Teachers will attend 3 in-person collaboration days in the summer to work with a small group of teachers in their grade level / content area to bundle standards and create 3-dimensional storylines that are aligned with the Idaho Science Content Standards. Each participant will receive a $1000 stipend for time and travel expenses. Apply
