Summer of Science with the Interstate Science Collaborative!

A warm shout-out to our K-12 science educators from CO, IA, ID, KS, MO, NE, NM, SD, & WY! J

Are you interested in a laid back Tuesday, Thursday morning PD opportunity? You only go to the ones that you are interested in; no one takes role (unless you sign up for credit). We have planned 12 virtual Summer of Science sessions. If you or colleagues are interested in participating, please have fill out this interest survey Google Form first, for our record keeping.

To register for a session using The Hub:

  • Choose one session, choose several, or join them all!

  • Each of the 12 sessions has a unique Zoom meeting registration link so you will need to register for each one individually.

  • Upon registering, be sure to save the Zoom calendar invite to your personal calendar as a friendly reminder to yourself.

  • You will receive a meeting reminder information from Zoom before the day of the sessions you registered for.

  • If you are interested in 1 graduate credit from Black Hills State University, you will need to register for a minimum of 8 sessions to qualify for the graduate credit and also complete the asynchronous assignments following each of those sessions. Details are forthcoming pending the syllabus approval by the SD Board of Regents and Black Hills State University. We anticipate the reduced tuition of $40 for 1 grad credit because of our virtual F2F component. SD Science Specialist, Jennifer Fowler, is the contact person for the graduate credit and assignments for all states participating in this course.
