iSTEM has a library of resources stored at North Idaho College available for teachers! Supplies such as magnet kits, optic kits, stream tables, kid friendly microscopes, GPS units, and marble launchers, as well as kid and teacher books in a variety of topics are available for teachers to check out. The IDAH2O Master Water Steward program offers educational resources to help North Idaho students understand the improve their understanding of local watershed ecosystems. Volunteers through the program are available to come to your classroom as a guest speaker, or to help you organize a field trip to assess the health of a local stream. The Community Library Network of Kootenai and Shoshone counties has STEAM kits available for educators to check out. There are science, engineering, and technology kits available and each kit includes the materials and instructional resources, and ideas for implementation in your classroom.
